Dr. James Tytko specializes in family medicine with an emphasis on sports medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame with high honors, and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. Dr. Tytko completed his Family Practice residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where he was chief resident. Dr. Tytko is an associate clinical professor in emergency medicine and family practice medicine at Wright State University. He is the team physician for Oakwood High School and the Dayton Dragons. He is Board Certified in Family Practice medicine since 1990 and Sports Medicine since 1993. He is also the Program Director for the Kettering Sports Medicine Fellowship.
