ABOUT

Dharti Patel, MD, attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology. She went on to earn her medical degree from Pramukhswami Medical College in India. While in medical school, she earned the GujSurg 2015 Conference Volunteer Award, the MEDSICON Poster Presentation Award, and the Inter-Collegiate Quiz Award.

When Dr. Patel isn't taking care of her patients in the hospital, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, exercising through CrossFit, taking road trips, and spending time with her nephew.
