Dr. Shetgeri specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spinal deformity conditions. Originally from Dallas, Texas he completed medical school in Chicago, Illinois. He completed residency in Detroit, Michigan. After his fellowship training at the renowned UCLA Spine Center, lecturing, publishing and training residents in spine surgery he brings the philosophy of spinal deformity training and latest advances in spine surgery to the greater Dayton area.

Dr. Shetgeri specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery for degenerative conditions, complex spine surgery for scoliosis for adults and adolescents, spinal fusion surgery, spine trauma surgery, spine tumor surgery, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pump placement, Kyphoplasty, Chiari malformations and general and traumatic cranial neurosurgery
PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Dr. Shetgeri believes in developing a custom-tailored plan of care centered around each patient to help them get back to functioning at their best quickly. Using latest spinal technologies, smaller incisions, updates in the understanding of spinal deformity and spinal oncology, he aims to reduce pain, improve quality of life and reduce the need for additional surgery.
