Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program
The Partial Hospitalization Program provides intensive psychiatric care for ages 12-17 through the provision of group, individual and family therapies by a licensed clinical therapist. Each adolescent is assessed by a board
certified psychiatrist during the course of treatment with medication management as appropriate. This program is ideal for adolescents recently discharged from an inpatient program or, in some cases, as an alternative to inpatient treatment. Adolescents attend the Partial Hospitalization Program for four to six weeks, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. During the school year, tutoring services are provided by a certified teacher through the Montgomery County Educational Service Center to ensure that education is not disrupted. The program works closely with each adolescent’s school to assist in maintaining his/her success.
